1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the services provided by LeaseShield Net Check ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), you ("Customer," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and LeaseShield Net Check.
2. Description of Services
LeaseShield Net Check provides comprehensive network security audit services for rental properties and small offices, including but not limited to:
- Wi-Fi and router security assessments and configuration reviews
- Default credential scanning and vulnerability identification
- Network configuration reviews and optimization recommendations
- Security report generation with detailed findings and remediation steps
- Remote verification consultations with certified security professionals
- Hardware security recommendations and procurement assistance
- Guest network separation analysis and configuration guidance
- Smart device isolation and IoT security assessments
- Firewall configuration reviews and rule optimization
- ISP modem bridging analysis and security hardening
- Follow-up consultations and ongoing security monitoring
3. Service Packages and Pricing
We offer multiple service packages with different features and pricing structures:
- Basic Security Audit ($49): Comprehensive network security checklist, Wi-Fi and router configuration review, printable pass/fail report, email support for questions
- Professional Package ($99): All Basic features plus remote verification call with security expert, detailed remediation playbook, priority phone support, follow-up consultation within 30 days
- Complete Solution ($199): All Professional features plus curated hardware security bundle, on-site setup assistance (where available), 6-month security monitoring, quarterly security updates and reviews
- Enterprise Solutions: Custom pricing for property management companies and large-scale deployments
All prices are in USD and subject to change with 30 days' written notice. Payment is due at the time of service booking unless alternative arrangements are made in writing.
4. Customer Responsibilities and Obligations
As a customer, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about your property and network setup
- Grant necessary access to network equipment and systems for audit purposes
- Follow security recommendations in a timely and appropriate manner
- Notify us promptly of any changes to your network configuration or setup
- Use our services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws
- Maintain confidentiality of any proprietary methodologies or tools we may share
- Provide a safe working environment for any on-site service visits
- Backup important data before implementing any recommended changes
- Cooperate fully during the audit process and provide requested information
- Pay all fees according to the agreed payment terms
5. Service Limitations and Disclaimers
Our services are limited to security auditing, assessment, and recommendations. We explicitly do not:
- Guarantee complete security against all current and future threats
- Provide ongoing network monitoring except where specifically included in service packages
- Take responsibility for implementing security changes or modifications
- Warrant that all security vulnerabilities will be identified in a single audit
- Provide legal advice or compliance consulting beyond security recommendations
- Guarantee specific performance improvements or outcomes
- Take responsibility for third-party hardware or software functionality
- Provide emergency response or incident response services
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LeaseShield Net Check shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business interruption, or loss of business opportunities, arising from or related to our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claims arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based.
7. Confidentiality and Data Protection
We understand that network security information is highly sensitive and confidential. We agree to:
- Keep all customer network information strictly confidential
- Use information only for the purpose of providing our contracted services
- Implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures
- Not disclose information to third parties without explicit written consent
- Return or securely destroy confidential information upon request
- Limit access to customer information to authorized personnel only
- Comply with applicable data protection and privacy laws
- Maintain professional standards of confidentiality
8. Cancellation, Refunds, and Modifications
Cancellation and refund policies vary by service package:
- Services may be cancelled up to 24 hours before the scheduled audit for a full refund
- Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a 25% cancellation fee
- Refunds for completed services are considered on a case-by-case basis
- Service modifications must be requested in writing and may incur additional fees
- Weather-related cancellations for on-site services will be rescheduled without penalty
- Emergency cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances will be handled individually
- Refund processing typically takes 5-10 business days
9. Intellectual Property Rights
All content, methodologies, tools, and materials provided by LeaseShield Net Check remain our exclusive intellectual property. Customers receive a limited, non-transferable license to use audit reports and recommendations solely for their intended security purposes. This license does not include the right to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works.
10. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, government actions, or technical failures of third-party systems.
11. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in Dallas, Texas, and shall be conducted in English.
12. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to customers via email or website notice at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal actions not subject to arbitration shall be resolved in the state or federal courts of Dallas County, Texas.
